Opti-Scan 3D Hybrid Measuring System
The new Opti-Scan 3D system by InspecVision is the world’s only hybrid measuring system available for measuring both part surfaces and edges in 3D. The magnifying ability of the 3D scanner provides precision accuracy and time savings for each manufacturer. This highly innovative system can measure up to 250,000 individual surface measurement points per second. When fitted to a new Planar machine or retrofitted to an old Planar system, the accuracy is even more precise and the speed optimal. By combining these systems you will achieve accurate edge measurements from the patented edge measurement software and fully integrated surface measurements from the Opti-Scan 3D.
There is no other available system in the world that offers these hybrid measurements. The system works in two ways, an image of the silhouette of the part is used to define its edges, then bands of light and a phase shift technology is used to determine the height of each pixel in the image. This provides the added bonus of a perfectly ordered point cloud, which greatly assists reverse engineering and inspection of the measurements.
